This was the first book I successfully completed. I spent the entire month of November writing the book for the 2011 National Novel Writing Month (Nanowrimo) challenge. I wrote 50K words in around thirty days.
The story is a near future dystopian tale that takes place in rural Nebraska. The main character is a biological time traveler of sorts. The story was well thought out, but might have a few writing kinks and warts. It was my first book and I am happy how it turned out.

After writing my first book, I kinda got the hang of it. There is a formula that can be applied to novel writing. Taking what I had learned during my first go round, I was able to write in a more focused manner. There wasn't any wasted effort building structure. The story sort of built itself and the characters came to life faster and with less set-up.
This fiction work is tinged with a little fantasy. It takes place in present day western Massachusetts; where Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont meet.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions is a proverb or aphorism. There are also other things that make up the path to the underworld: ambition, desire, revenge... This book is made up of three novellas detailing the possible damnation of three characters and the people around them. These three stories cover shortcuts, stupidity, ambition, and sibling rivalry.
This fiction work is tinged with a little occult horror.
