Who is this guy? Or the about me Section
My name is Anthony Robertson. Currently, I’m the technical web design lead for the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. My duties center on front-end web design, providing technical guidance, managing our intern/coop training program, implementing and maintaining our content management services, and providing UI/UX leadership for static web projects and dynamic application development. I’m also an adjunct faculty member in the Continuing Education department at The University of the Arts.
I’m a native Missourian, but now live with my wonderful wife, dog, and three cats in Lansdowne, PA. I received my degree from Temple University. I’m a former US Marine, kind of a home-body, exercise junkie, and dork. I love Apple products, Harley-Davidson Sportsters, Trek bicycles, music with crunchy guitars, uncomplicated beer, burritos, and Bauhaus and Swiss Design. When I have a little free time, I like to blog and write fiction.
Teaching Schedule: Fall ‘14 semester, I’m scheduled to teach two (2) sections of Foundations of Web Design and Development (CE 9506C/N), a single (1) section of Designing Effective Web Pages (CE 002C/N), and the Emerging Tools for the Web Workshop (CE 5431C); the classes (not the workshop) are part of the Web Design Essentials certificate. The workshop is an elective.
Availability: I’m not currently taking on any freelance design or development projects, but if you want to talk, need a consultant, or whatever,
Writing: If you have a few minutes and want to read something I wrote, check out my articles on Medium.com or my blog posts. If you're feeling adventurous, you can download one of my novels from Amazon.com.
